Matter in Motion
Domus Art Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of its new space in Athens with a group show of four artists: Nikos Mikroulis, Vittoria Panunzi, Petr Shevchenko, Luisa Valeriani.
Their work was selected around the shared concept of moving elements, each artist offering a personal view. Vittoria Panunzi and Petr Shevchenko suggest a progressive evolution of geometric shapes in a straight and continuous dimension, Nikos Mikroulis and Luisa Valeriani explore the time dimension in a surreal perception of reality as a continuous shift between past, present and future.
The viewer is invited to catch and understand the conceptual connection between the art pieces taking the idea outside the physical boundaries of the room.
