Luisa Valeriani was born in Rome in 1981. Her idiomatic artistic expression reflects German Romanticism, the linear elegance of Art Nouveau, and the dream-like atmosphere of Symbolism.
A self-tought artist, as early as 2003 aged 22, she has her first solo show at the Contempo-Rarity Art Gallery in Rome, followed by a continuous series of exhibitions, among which “Premio Art-e, Passione e Arte“ (2020) at MACO – Museo di Arte Contemporanea in Veroli, Italy.
In 2021 she participates in the group show “Woman” at Area Contesa Arte gallery in Rome, and has a new solo exhibition titled “Mutato nomine. Nella favola si parla di te”, at MUEF ArtGallery, Rome.
In the same year she introduces photography as a medium of figurative support in her work, with the addition of material elements that enable a layered reading in the creative process.
